Week 1 Day 3 10K Training

runner-downAnd so it begins. I didn’t think I was going to get this run in – left work late and with the sun still setting before 6 pm that does leave much time to warm up and get the run in.  First run of this training program and it was supposed to be an easy 2 miles at a slow pace – 11-11:30 minute pace.  I ran it faster than that.  Didn’t feel like I was running to fast – although there were a few stretches where I kicked up the pace because I wanted to see if I could.

February Goals Update:
Complete a 6 mile run by 3/10/13 – Longest 4.67 miles on 10/6/12
I will run a total of 32 miles by Feb 28, 2013 – 9.9% Complete (3.17 miles)

I like to listen to music while I run – especially heavy beat, fast paced music.  I’d be interested in getting additional suggestions if anyone has any – below is my current playlist.
